Kidskate for Pre-Schoolers Ages 4-5
Program includes 10 minutes pre-ice warm-up and games and 30 minutes on-ice instruction. Lots of support for the first time skater.
 
Canskate for Youth Ages 5-11
Skate Canada's nationally acclaimed learn-to-skate program for all rink sports. Incorporates balance, gliding forwards and backwards, stops and spins. All sessions are 50 minutes long including a 10 minute pre-ice warm-up.
Twice a week strongly recommended by Skate Canada
        
Canskate Enrichment         **NEW PROGRAM
Supplementary session offered to skaters already enrolled in Canskate. For level 4-6 Canskaters. Extra coaching and enrichment opportunities.
Open to both Tues-Saturday or Wed-Sun skaters-Level 4-6
 
Teenskate for Youth 12-17
Classes for teens who have always wanted to learn to skate or to improve their basic figure skating technique. Taught using circuits and great music. Session ice shared with Adult Canskate.
 
Preliminary Level Group Lessons
Introduction to Figure Skating. Group lessons cover all disciplines of figure skating: skills, freeskate and dance.
  
Junior Level Test Stream
Stroking practice, group instruction and off ice on Saturday and Sunday included. Skater has completed one Preliminary level test.
 
Intermediate Level Test Stream
Sessions include stroking. ThursdaySunday sessions includes enrichment group lesson. Off-ice on Saturday.
Skaters working on Junior Bronze to Senior Bronze Freeskate, Junior Bronze to Junior Silver Skills and Dance. Skaters with partial qualifications may be allowed on Sundays (if space available)
 
Senior Level Test Stream
Maximum 20 skaters on Freeskate.
Sessions include stroking/conditioning.
Skaters working on JS Freeskate, Dance, Skills or above. Skaters working at SB freeskate for 2 yrs or more may apply.
(if space available). Skaters with partial qualifications may be allowed on Sundays (if space available).
Competitive Program
To encourage and develop skaters who wish to compete at invitational and qualifying competitions. Full program description on request. Off-ice training, stroking/conditioning, group lessons and simulations included in fee.
27 WEEKS
Eligibility: Working on Junior Silver Freeskate (2yrs+ at SB Freeskate level may apply) and signed up for 2+ sessions at KSC and competing in at least 2 non-club freeskate events.
 
For KSC skaters the competitive program includes entry price for 2 competitions (outside of club) and fees to sectionals/divisionals.
**All parents of skaters on competitive session required to assist with Nevada ticket sales at Frontenacs home games. Contact Joanne Forsythe.
 
High Dance  *NEW PROGRAM
*Bingo requirement         Starts Wed September 4
40 minute dance for skaters at SS, Gold and Diamond Dances levels. Priority to dance, however skills music may be requested in first 15 minutes.
 
Adult Program
Choice of two times for learn-to-skate. Wednesday evening session is suitable for advanced skaters.
 
Special Olympics 
Personalized instruction by Professional Coach. Special Olympics competitions. Contact Katherine Bennett for more information.
 
Monday Morning Open Ice
For skaters working at Senior Bronze level or above *(note 5 Mondays excluded from package to meet partnering requirements for high dance tests-priority and extra fee applies) Dance priority on this time will go skaters who pay for Monday open ice.
